With the Circle Stores, the Swiss furniture company Vitra gives its products a second life and thus puts sustainable management into practice. From mid-October 2023, there will also be a Circle Store on the Vitra Campus in Weil am Rhein. There are further Circle Stores in Brussels and Amsterdam.
Vitra’s greatest contribution to sustainability is above-average durable products that leave out everything superfluous. Our roots in modernist design would not allow anything else.

Vitra’s products are designed in such a way that recycling is easy and they can remain in circulation for a long time. Part of this attitude are also the Vitra Circle Stores, which have opened since 2017 in Brussels, Amsterdam and Frankfurt, among other places: With them, Vitra gives products a second life. After two successful years, the Vitra Circle Store in Germany is moving from Offenbach to Weil am Rhein on the Vitra Campus. The Vitra Circle Stores sell second-hand furniture by Vitra and Artek as well as accessories such as samples, event and exhibition pieces. Sales take place on site, with prices based on the condition of the products. All products are checked for functionality and repaired if necessary, so that a renewed product guarantee can be given.
The store on the Vitra Campus- serves not only as a point of sale, but also as a central contact point for the circular furniture model. The Circle Store concept benefits from shorter logistics routes on the campus. The store also has a service and repair area.
