Tantris Maison Culinaire: Meet me at the chocolaterie

Tantris Maison Culinaire launches its first chocolate: the exclusive collection comprises the finest bars and melt-in-the-mouth creams of the highest chocolate quality – 100% fait maison.

The TANTRIS CHOCOLATERIE is an extension of the Tantris Pâtisserie at the TANTRIS MAISON CULINAIRE, which was created thanks to the team’s savoir-faire and passion for chocolate and the finest pâtisserie. It was the wish of head pastry chef Maxime Rebmann to present a little piece of Tantris to guests and gourmets at home.
The chocolates and creams follow the same idea as the TANTRIS MAISON CULINAIRE: to transform the best and selected seasonal quality products into unique taste experiences using traditional craftsmanship and perfected handiwork, while preserving and emphasizing their natural taste.

ONLY THE BEST QUALITY RAW CHOCOLATE AND PRODUCTS USED

The pâtisserie at TANTRIS MAISON CULINAIRE uses cocoa beans of Cuban and Peruvian origin, processed by Nicolas Berger, a French chocolatier and roaster in Paris. Nicolas and Maxime share a great passion and the same quality awareness when it comes to chocolate – they focus with great passion on the processed products. Their common goal is to develop unique taste experiences with Tantris chocolate and to create something unique for Tantris connoisseurs.

The Tantris pâtissiers only use organic nuts from France for the nougat. Thanks to the in-house production process, the sugar content can be precisely determined and the end product precisely controlled. The nougats are completely free from artificial flavors and preservatives. All dried or candied fruit is also freshly harvested during the season and stored in the Tantris Pâtisserie until further use.

PÉRU MILK CHOCOLATE 60 %

Peru, and in particular the San Martín region, the agricultural cooperative with which Tantris works, brings together more than 500 farmers who grow coffee, sugar cane and cocoa with respect for the surrounding nature. As part of its organic and fair trade certification, the cooperative has been financing technical and scientific advice for cocoa farmers since 2015 in order to continuously improve their harvests of trinitarian varieties and enhance their terroir. Its unmistakable chocolate flavor captivates with notes of cinnamon, caramel and tonka beans with a broad amber-colored aroma palette reminiscent of old cognacs or whiskies.

CUBA CHOCOLATE 65 %

Cuba, and in particular the Baracoa region, which is located at the eastern end of the island, has preserved very old Trinitarian cultures. The terroir of Baracoa, which gives the cocoa beans their unique character, is overlooked by a mountain range and is therefore relatively isolated from the rest of the island.

The special features of the taste are notes of roasted, dried fruit, caramel and even blond tobacco in the finish and a very well-balanced bitterness.

The TANTRIS CHOCOLAT range is available in three varieties: Origine, Aromatisée and Garnie, so there is something for every chocolate fan.
