There are places where you can’t even see the stars at night because the streets and houses are so brightly lit. That’s not the case at Serra Nature. After all, the eco-resort is located in the middle of the Sierra Calderona Nature Park – surrounded by nature. What makes the magic of the night here complete? A dinner under the stars – where the sky shines, the silence speaks and every moment tastes of infinity.
It is an experience for all the senses when night falls. The sun gently disappears behind the rocky elevations of the nature park. The play of colours in the sky changes with each passing moment until it becomes completely dark. Cork oaks and pines sink into the black of the night. Rosemary and rock roses retreat, having already given off enough of their spicy scent for today. You can hear rustling in the distance – it was probably a wild boar or a genet on the prowl. And above us: the starry sky.
The table is set for the magic of three courses made from local produce. Accompanied by soft live music, an evening awaits us here that will appeal to our senses. Hedoné, the name of the restaurant, already hints at this. The Greek word stands for pleasure and desire.
Here we go: guacamole prepared before our eyes with – molcajete, a mortar and pestle, and garnished with coriander, onions, tomatoes and lime. An artichoke heart – opened in the shape of a heart – on a base of diced Jamón Ibérico. And then? A bell. A fillet steak underneath. Smoke escapes. And now a crêpe suzette. Flames and a bittersweet flavour. To finish, a cocktail whose flavour is enhanced with a burst from the edible perfume spray.
