Architecture & Design
The portfolio of currently twelve PURESLeben holiday homes includes the categories premium houses and wineyard houses. The private spa with panorama sauna and private pool as well as the unique architecture make each premium house a feel-good retreat for two to six people. Here, guests swim and relax in absolute privacy.
The luxury premium house Grabenschake, a 200-year-old revitalised farmhouse with 55,000 m² of natural grounds, for example, offers an exclusive domicile full of space, tranquillity and absolute solitude, in the midst of pure nature. The façade of Stadl Wuggitz, where the high-quality interior design unfolds from the combination of modern design elements and antique pieces of furniture, also reflects 200 years of natural forces and local tradition.

Local materials such as solid woods and stone were predominantly used in the construction of all the holiday homes. Large glass fronts also bring the gentle landscape inside and convey the feeling of being in the middle of nature. Spacious terraces, cosy hammocks and comfortable loungers also create an ideal place to relax outside.
Restaurant Sillys Kuchl
Since November 2020, Dietmar Silly has been welcoming guests to his new “Kuchl” in the main building in Oberhaag. Restaurant and event location at the same time, the heart of PURESLeben in southern Styria promises authentic ambience, traditional cuisine from the wood-fired oven and exclusive tastings of in-house wines. Within the high walls of the former wine stables, a place for socialising and enjoyment has been created, where the down-to-earth is given its own stage. The brothers Dietmar and Gerald Silly prepare Styrian menus themselves at the wood-burning oven in the large parlour, using seasonal ingredients from their own farm. In addition, the homemade PURESLeben products such as wines, oils and spreads are offered for sale to give guests the opportunity to experience the luxury of simplicity at home.
Location & Region
The twelve exclusive holiday homes of PURESLeben are located about 30 minutes south of Graz in Tunauberg, Altenbach and Sausal. Each house differs from the others in architecture, design and location. Southern Styria is climatically located in the area of influence of the Mediterranean and is one of the most outstanding wine-growing regions in Europe.
Numerous wine festivals along the South Styrian Wine Route, the Klapotetz Wine Route and the Sausal Wine Route celebrate the first-class vine cultures every year. Rustic wine taverns, wineries, inns and gourmet restaurants can be reached in just a few minutes from the PURESLeben houses.
History & Philosophy
It all started with an idea that gradually became a success story. For a long time, Dietmar Silly had wanted to show visitors the unspoilt nature of his homeland and the beauty and light-heartedness of the region. In addition, his passion has always been construction and habitation. Together with his brother Gerald, he produces high-quality, regional products at the Silly winery and the associated farm, and has been combining all of this into PURESLeben since 2004.
The extraordinary places of the holiday homes are hand-picked by Dietmar Silly and combine a break from the everyday with a retreat into a private home. The focus is on the idea of enjoying the simple things in life and yet not foregoing any comfort. This philosophy runs like a red thread from the individual houses to the heart of PURESLeben.
