It is one of the oldest buildings in the area. It was first mentioned in 1085. Back then it was the seat of the Lords of Rischon and today the house is a charming modern feel-good place for travellers looking for a relaxed holiday with historical flair. The accommodation units, which are furnished with natural materials, all have fully equipped kitchenettes and, depending on their size, several bedrooms with heavenly beds and several bathrooms. On request, you can also order a small breakfast with delicacies from the surrounding area directly to your room. For culinary cravings, a visit to the Honesty Bar in the former smokehouse is worthwhile. Here you will find a selection of South Tyrolean specialities, including fine wines, farmhouse bacon, Kaminwurzen sausages, cheese and Schüttelbrot bread. A glass of wine is best enjoyed on the sun terrace with a view of the countryside. Or in one of the cosy parlours? Or in the modern lounge? Perhaps simply in your room, just like at home.
And then, of course, there is also the option to Dine Around. There is no more authentic way to spend your holiday than by visiting the surrounding restaurants and eateries. Whether you fancy traditional South Tyrolean cuisine at the Bauernstube Messnerhof, prefer Asian food at Umami Fusion Kitchen or would like to try the down-to-earth, creative cuisine with South Tyrolean and Italian specialities at the Rischon restaurant in Reischach – it’s up to you.
