Count the sheep

Geba combines traditional craftsmanship with modern design and has its rugs made in Nepal according to Harald Geba’s designs. Inspired by art, architecture, nature and travelling, this results in unique carpet creations. The wool comes from sheep that live in the heights of Tibet at over 4,000 metres and develop particularly long, greasy fibres under extreme conditions – an ideal basis for durable, high-quality carpets.

Like on clouds

The wool is processed in a gentle and environmentally friendly way, without dry cleaning. It is washed in mountain streams and spun by hand, dyed with vegetable dyes and knotted in the traditional Tibetan loop knot. The natural colouring of the wool gives each rug an individual touch. However, thanks to an additional palette of 256 synthetic shades, precise colour requests can also be implemented.
