In 1999, Esfan Eghtessadi and Inge Onsea launched the label with a simple yet brilliant concept: a small T-shirt collection with four styles in twenty colors – a vibrant response to the then-monochrome fashion world. The designs were an instant hit, leading to rapid expansion and the addition of knitwear, dresses, jackets, and accessories. The brand is already incorporating organic cotton, Lenzing™ Ecovero™ viscose, and recycled polyester into its collections. In 2022, the brand also launched the second-hand platform “Re-ssentiel“ to extend the lifespan of its garments.
