Happiness and zest for life seem to be the main goals for many people. How strange that despite that, we spend so little time chasing that goal.
As was the case for Catherine Price. As a young mother, she found herself living day to day merely performing her duties. She decided to set about finding joy. And when she realised how little research there was into the topic of fun and joy, she started her own survey, which got over 1,500 responses from people all over the world.
During her research, she established three factors that have to come together so we can experience deep joy: flow, play and connection. The author explains how we can find these three mood-lifters and give them more space in our everyday life.
