You name it! The Gradonna****s Mountain Resort as a film set // Lifestylehotels

What nickname does the Gradonna have? Does it even have one? We don’t know. But what we do know: It is not only a four-star superior resort, but also serves as a film set. What does this have to do with a nickname? The austrian-german film “Der Spitzname” (meaning “nickname” in german) was shot here – with a top-class cast in a renowned setting on the Grossglockner.

Whether you need winter tyres in the mountains (of course and please add snow chains), whether someone carries smelling salts with them (does that even exist today?) or which pronouns you should use for yourself (the choice is huge) – these questions lead to discussions in the family of protagonists from the film “Der Spitzname” After “Der Vorname” and “Der Nachname“, the third part is now about a wedding in East Tyrol with the well-known actors of the Böttcher-Berger family Iris Berben, Christoph Maria Herbst, Florian David Fitz and Caroline Peters.

The Gradonna****s Mountain Resort, situated on a sunny high plateau at 1,500 metres above sea level, is the setting for a wedding and the associated family ski holiday. The breathtaking exterior view, the rooftop terrace as an event location and the bridal suite in chalet number 2 are just three of the many spots that can be discovered here in the film, as the Gradonna plays a leading role in “Der Spitzname”.

Time for a trip to Tyrol. Even if it’s only to the cinema at first. Perhaps we can think of a suitable nickname for our next visit to the Gradonna?
