On the occasion of the opening of the new flagship store on Via Montenapoleone, Bvlgari dedicates itself to the city of Milan with a project that honors the high art of goldsmithing while simultaneously initiating a significant cultural sponsorship. Together with the Fondazione Bvlgari, a collaboration is launched with the Museo del Novecento, a central institution for modern and contemporary art in Milan.
Not far from the new boutique, which blends Roman design influences with Milanese architectural tradition, the Maison presents a selection of iconic Tubogas creations from its historical collection as part of the exhibition “Tubogas & Beyond,” on display from March 25 to June 29, 2025.
A New Destination for Jewelry Art on Via Montenapoleone
The new store is located in the historic Taverna Radice Fossati, a neoclassical building dating back to 1835, spanning three floors with a total area of 750 square meters. The architectural concept combines Roman elements—such as travertine columns and mosaic floors—with Milanese style features, including references to the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, Villa Necchi Campiglio, and the Palazzo dell’Arengario.

Inside, visitors will find works by Italian artisans as well as art installations by Fabio Viale and Luca Pignatelli, who reinterpret classical motifs. A special focus is placed on Venetian glass art and traditional materials such as marble, silk, and stucco. The design highlights Bvlgari’s iconic jewelry collections, including Serpenti, B.zero1, Divas’ Dream, and Octo, as well as leather and silk accessories.
Tubogas & Beyond: A Journey Through Design and Craftsmanship
The exhibition features a curated selection of historic Tubogas pieces, including the first Tubogas bracelet from 1941, the first watch with a Tubogas band (1948/49), and a necklace from 1974 featuring three ancient Greek coins from the private collection of Barbara and Frank Sinatra. Inspired by 19th-century gas pipes, the Tubogas technique represents a new creative freedom: flexible gold spirals crafted without soldering, adorned with gemstones, diamonds, or antique coins.

Commitment to Culture: Collaboration with the Museo del Novecento
Alongside the store opening, the Fondazione Bvlgari, in collaboration with the city of Milan, is launching a long-term project to support the Museo del Novecento. Established in 2024, the foundation is dedicated to art, craftsmanship, and social responsibility.
