October 2023 – As Morocco warmly welcomes the return of travelers from around the world, the luxury Amanjena Hotel also welcomes guests to its unique palatial resort just outside the UNESCO World Heritage city of Marrakech. Amanjena means “peaceful paradise”-it is situated in a particularly quiet and peaceful location. Surrounded by palm trees and olive groves, guests can experience the unique hospitality and special charm of Morocco and enjoy the hotel’s latest offerings near the famous “Red City”:
New pool pavilions
In early October, Amanjena unveils eight restored pavilions, expanding its collection to 40 pavilions and maisons. The eight beautiful Pavillons with vaulted ceilings and elegant Moorish-inspired interiors, have been extensively renovated and feature heated swimming pools (7.7m by 3m) and traditional columned pavilions. The king-size beds and green marble from the province of Ouarzazate create an opulent aesthetic. The private villas are perfect retreats for couples and invite relaxation. The new heated swimming pools in the private gardens of the pavilions overlook the magnificent olive groves and the Atlas Mountains.
Moroccan hospitality with a traditional Berber family
A wonderful authentic tradition to get a closer look at the great hospitality in Morocco is a visit to the Brahim family. In their typical Moroccan house, guests are served a homemade Berber meal. Sidi Brahim and his son Said invite to a walk through the hidden village L’Arbaa Tighdouine in the Atlas Mountains. Here the guests will get a lot of interesting information about the culture and the surroundings. Afterwards, the Brahim family invites you to their home for Moroccan delicacies in the form of tagines and couscous dishes, which are lovingly prepared according to old family recipes. This unique experience creates a deep connection with nature and the community and is guaranteed to leave lasting memories. What’s special: All proceeds from this experience go directly to the Brahim family to support their relatives and neighbors affected by the recent earthquakes in the region.
Experience the wonders of Marrakech
Set in an oasis of palm and olive trees, the Amanjena is an ideal base from which to discover the secrets of Marrakech. This season, an additional night is offered for bookings of 3 nights or more until March 31, 2024 (subject to availability). Unique adventures and more time to stroll through the city’s vibrant souks or discover the desert, with its unique moonscapes, await guests and create unforgettable experiences.
Relax with traditional holistic treatments
