We have decided to see life in 2024 as a big celebration. Come what may. This has nothing to do with hedonism or a Titanic-style atmosphere, where the sinking is accompanied by music.
Even if we have the feeling that there is little reason to celebrate in the world – it is deceptive. We have our lives. And we should always take this as an opportunity to enjoy it and, above all, to shape it. We should pay attention to that. Not to let ourselves be driven by life, but to consciously take it into our own hands.
For us, celebrating life also means learning to be content. To recognise how valuable what you have in your life is. This, in turn, can be something different for everyone.
That’s why we asked 50 people in our cover story what makes their lives “a party this year” and received a wide variety of answers. From petting dogs to self-esteem, everything from the small to the big is included. We also conducted interviews and visited people to ask them about their passions. We observed that a passionate activity creates an inner satisfaction and that these people organise their lives according to their own ideas. Life is everything, it is the big and the small, the beautiful and the sad – it is always worth living. Let us awaken the passion within us and practise contentment. Let’s make life come alive. And turn it into a party.
