The Post Hotel in the heart of the village of Innichen in the mountains of southern Tyrol was once a cosy little guest house. Active summer
If you like the out-of-doors , why not take a look at the Summer Activity programme. It changes each day and every week – walks to the source of the River Drau, excursions to alpine dairies, water therapy and relaxation training in the forest are just some of the highlights on offer. The legendary Tre Cime di Laverado are more or less on your doorstep; it’s up to you whether you admire them from a distance on a hike around the lower slopes, or make a brave beeline for the summit. The beautiful South Tyrolean countryside can also be explored at top speed, even with your “topless” – that is, with the Cabrio roof down …
For a more ecological option, take a stroll through Innichen‘s picturesque pedestrian zone, which is one of the prettiest in the whole of the Puster Valley. Shop for regional delicacies and international brands to your heart’s content.
