The 65 panoramic rooms and suites provide a view of the Latten Mountains through oversized glass fronts. In the Spa Lofts, this view can be enjoyed from the private whirlpool in the room – a breathtaking experience that brings luxury and nature together in a unique way.
Wellness & Health at the Klosterhof
The fascinating mountain backdrop also accompanies the guests of the Klosterhof in the 1500 square meter spa area. Whether in the panorama sauna, the indoor or outdoor pool, the gym or the yoga room – the unobstructed view of the mountain massif is omnipresent. The treatments in the award-winning wellness area draw strength and tranquility from the local nature. For deep relaxation, a pleasant warmth flows through the guests on the quartz sand lounger filled with Reichenhall salt. In the SoleDom, visitors to the wellness area can experience the unique feeling of weightlessness. The extensive activity program offers guided hikes and mountain bike tours in addition to Qi Gong, yoga classes, meditation and Aqua Gym. In the associated health center, mental coaching is offered in addition to sports and nutritional counseling.
Culinary delights in the Klosterhof
Under the motto “Fresh-Frech-Förster”, the Klosterhof offers its guests a multi-course gourmet menu consisting of individual a la carte components, which has absolutely nothing to do with the classic half-board cuisine from the standard hotel industry. The young and ambitious chef Sascha Förster attaches particular importance to exciting courts with influences from the star kitchen. The combination of health and pleasure is integrated into the dishes with ease. Both at breakfast, where a green wall tempts you to use fresh herbs, with healthy lunch bowls in the afternoon, and at dinner, where there is a low-carbohydrate version of the low carb diet in addition to the creative “Chefs Choice”, the more traditional “Regional & Boundless” and the vegetarian “Vegetable & Herb Garden” menu.
However, the culinary summit with Förster’s personal signature takes place every Saturday: In an exclusive setting for only 12 people, the “Fine Dining Experience” takes place in the Klosterhofstuben. With his kitchen team, Sascha Förster transforms the best products of the Alps and from all over the world into extravagant and unique gourmet creations. In the center & highlight of the evening: a gusto piece, matured itself in the Klosterhof Dry Ager. His creations reveal many an extravagant combination, which merges into a surprising symbiosis after the first few bites.
“Enthusiasm Life” is the motto of the young hotel. In 2016, the owners Henrike and Andreas Färber opened the Klosterhof as a unique relaxation oasis in the Berchtesgadener Land with just that.
